Step by Step Guide
Preparation
- Unpack furniture wrapping film and check for damage.
- If installing to cabinet or cupboard door, unscrew the door from the unit and remove all handles and hinges.
- All surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and free from dust and grease before application. The use of soapy water or an alcohol-based degreaser is advised. Surface should be completely dry before proceeding with installation.
- Application to synthetic materials or some painted surfaces can result in a surface reaction in the form of bubbling. It is recommended to order a sample prior to purchase and for spot test to be carried out.

Horizontal Surface Application (Furniture & Flat Surfaces)
- Measure your surface and cut your material to size (Oversize by 50mm)
- Peel approx. 100mm of the liner and begin applying from the top.
- Ensure alignment of the material is correct and square with 25mm overlap on all sides.
- Press with hard card to remove bubbles and apply to the surface.
- Upon applying the first 100mm correctly, remove the liner from the next 200mm-300mm of material and continue applying until the entire piece is applied.
- Once this process is complete, squeegee the entire area to ensure bubbles are removed.
Note: If small pockets of air are present, use a small needle to prick the bubble at one edge, and push using your thumb towards the pin prick. - Trim to size.
ADVICE FOR SOCKETS & SWITCHES:
- First cover them with masking tape to protect them from scratches, then roughly cut off the film with an overlap of approx. 2 cm.
- Trim the rest of the material exactly along the squeegee with a cutter, finally press down under the socket.
Vertical Surface Application (Walls, Panels & Cabinets)
- First clean and prepare the surface.
- Stick the individual wrapping film pieces to the wall with masking tape in order to position the material.
- Remove a few centimetres of the liner from the material and position it and squeegee it to anchor it to the wall.
- Then pull off a larger piece (approx. 30 centimetres) of the material from below, squeegee into place from top to bottom with overlapping movements.
- Go over all edges again with your squeegee to ensure good adhesion.
- If the surface you are working with is not ideally suited for bonding, then always use a primer and clean the edges beforehand with an alcohol-based degreaser.
- Finally, work with more pressure on the edges.
Aftercare
- Avoid cleaning the material for the first 30 days, this will allow the material to completely cure to the surface.
- Once your new material has completed the curing process, we would recommend you clean the film with non-abrasive cloths and mild soapy water. Please avoid abrasive pads and industrial strength cleaners.
