Shipping & Returns Policy

We have created this page to provide a brief overview of the key points of our Shipping & Returns policy for easy reading. We encourage you to also familiarise yourself with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.


All UK Mainland material orders are dispatched via DPD on a next working day service. You will receive a text message and email on the day of delivery with a 2 hour time slot. Our order cut off time is 1pm for same day dispatch. After this time, your order will be dispatched on the next working day. If you are unable to accept delivery within this time slot, you can arrange for the package to be delivered to a neighbour or left within a safe place. Sample orders are dispatched via Royal Mail First Class post on a standard service. This service is not tracked and you will not be notified of the delivery. During busy periods we ask for your patience and encourage you to wait an additional 3 working days past the estimated delivery date before contacting us. This is to allow sufficient time for the postal service to make the delivery. 

We deliver to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and The Isle of Man for an additional charge. This service is provided by DPD on a two working day service.

All material orders are custom made to your requirements and are therefore unable to be returned free of charge. In the event you would like to return your goods, we ask that they are unused and the release liner is still intact.

All returns are subject to a 30% restocking charge and the customer is responsible for all delivery costs. Surface Designs will be unable to refund any delivery charges. Returns are at our sole discretion, we recommend that you contact us prior to sending your returned goods to us to confirm the return address and the condition of the goods.

If your goods arrive damaged, or are defective, we will endeavour to replace these goods at no charge to you. We ask that you comply with our requests for imagery of the damaged and/or defective items in order to proceed with claim requests with the courier company. Failure to comply with our requests may result in additional delays. Please ensure that goods are checked on arrival and inform us of any damages within 7 days.
